Terms of Service
Last updated: June 8, 2026
These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern your use of Signal Hub (the “App”), a macOS Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) testing and automation application. By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
1. The App
Signal Hub lets you discover, inspect, connect to, and automate workflows with nearby BLE peripherals. The App is a developer and engineering utility provided for lawful testing, development, and diagnostics.
2. License
The App is licensed, not sold, to you. Subject to these Terms, you are granted a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to download and use Signal Hub on Mac computers you own or control. You may not reverse engineer, decompile, redistribute, or resell the App except to the extent permitted by law.
If you obtained the App from the Mac App Store, Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies to that copy.
3. Subscriptions and billing
The App is free to download and use. Signal Hub Pro is an optional auto-renewing subscription that unlocks premium features, available at $9.99 USD / month or $59.99 USD / year (or the local-currency equivalent shown at checkout). See the Pricing page for details.
- Payments are processed by Paddle.com, our authorized reseller and Merchant of Record; the charge on your statement appears from Paddle.
- Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period, at the then-current price, unless you cancel before it renews.
- You can manage or cancel anytime from Signal Hub → Settings → Signal Hub Pro → Manage Subscription, or via the link in your Paddle receipt email. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period.
- Your Pro entitlement is tied to your Signal Hub account and syncs across devices you sign in on.
- Refunds are handled under our Refund Policy.
4. Acceptable use
You agree to use the App lawfully and responsibly. In particular, you agree not to:
- Use the App to access, interfere with, or disrupt any BLE device, network, or system you do not own or are not authorized to test.
- Use the App to violate any applicable law, regulation, or third-party right.
- Attempt to disrupt, attack, or gain unauthorized access to any device or service.
You are solely responsible for the peripherals you connect to and the commands you send. Interacting with BLE hardware can change device state or behavior; you assume all risk for how you use the App.
5. Disclaimer of warranties
The App is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every BLE peripheral.
6. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event shall the developer be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, hardware, or profits, arising out of or related to your use of (or inability to use) the App, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. To the extent liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for the App in the twelve months preceding the claim.
7. Changes to the App and Terms
We may update, modify, or discontinue features of the App at any time. We may also revise these Terms; when we do, we will update the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
8. Termination
These Terms apply until terminated. Your rights under these Terms end automatically if you fail to comply with them. You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it. Cancelling a subscription is handled in-app or via Paddle as described above.
9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the developer's place of residence, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles, except where mandatory consumer-protection laws of your country of residence apply.
